How to get an Absentee Ballot

1. Download an absentee ballot application or request one from the Board of Elections (377-2469).

2. Mail the completed application to: Schenectady County Board of Elections

   Schenectady, NY, 12305
   

3. The application can be used for either the Primary Election or the General Election or both.

4. Your application must be postmaked no later than seven days before the election or hand delivered to the Board of Elections no later than the day before the election.

5. The ballot itself must be postmarked no later than seven days before Election Day or hand delivered to the Board of Elections before the polls close on Election Day.
